How common are these in your country?

And I'm talking about the insect, not Turks.

>NYC
Literally fucking everywhere. I think I've used up three bottles of roach spray this past week.
>>
I have never seen a single one in my entire life.

How large are they?

Canada has them I'm sure but I have never actually seen one. We do have may beetles (pic) in the Spring sometimes and they look similar.
>>
>>77921099
It can very.

They can be as small as ants, and the small ones are usually quite circular.

Then you have the very narrow long ones that are 3cm.

Waterbugs on the other hand are fucking enormous. They're mega-roaches that are also quite common, and those can get to around 8 cm.

used to be common, they briefly disappeared so people even began to joke of them as of an endangered species but recently they began to appear again albeit they are pretty rare nowadays

how do people that hate reddit always know a lot of that site? really makes you think
>>
My building is full of pests.

Mice, roaches, bed bugs, you name it.

On the plus side, none of them really "do" anything. The mice just come for the leaky tap (water) and get promptly eaten by the cats, the roaches just kind of chill by the toaster and run away in the light, and the bed bugs...well...they're a bit annoying. At least their bites aren't itchy.
>>
Never seen one in real life, I don't think they're common in Britain/(europe??)
>>
>>77922117
yes they almost disappeared for a few years, i am not sure about the reasons, but recently people report they began to meet them again, albeit they are much rarer nowadays
>>
My cat eats them, I'm always worried that he might get dick because of that but he likes to eat them all the time.
>>
OP is a motherfucker with fucking infestation in his home.
I'm not saying you will never see a roach here, but 3 fucking bottles in a week, one bottle a year is more like it maybe.

NYC too here, brooklyn specifically. You literally have a nest in your house. Stop leaving food out.
>>
>>77923102
I don't think eating spiders will make your cat grow a dick.
>>
never seen one
>>
We get some as big as beetles that fly.
Fuck roaches buy a cat or two and you will never see a live one.
>>
>>77921154
Could you take the waterbugs back, America? They started appearing around these parts about 10 years ago and now unless you close your windows at night during the summer one of those fuckers will walk in and say hello. Flying roaches are just wrong, man.
>>

Common as fuck - basically can't do anything about it - don't leave food out, etc.

Never seen one here either - I do live in the mountains though so far less warm.

>>

>I think Japanese cockroaches are the most disgusting ones.
Nah, Americanas are the worst ones. They are way faster, can fly, are bigger, and look uglier in general. A house I used to live in was full to the brim with 3 (probably closer to 2.5, but they can be really big) inch americanas, and one time when I went to the kitchen, there were 2 of those huge beasts flying.

They don't live in Britain

There are literally no dangerous animals or insects in the UK

God's country boys
>>
Had the small ones in my house at one point, haven't seen them again for years though.

I'm sure they're around but mostly around big cities
>>
>>77921042
rarely seen them, am terrified of them and have horrible memories of finding them in my room underneath discarded pieces of paper, folders etc.
>>
They're common, I let spiders and other natural predators in my house to hunt them, really effective I must say, I have only seen a couple of small ones since I stopped killing other insects.
>>
>>77921042
My commie block was full with old people and some of them were dirty cunts so we got roaches coming through any available pipe. We had water pipes for the heaters that we cut since we got central heating, sometimes they came through those.

Saw like one a week or so, mostly in the bathroom. One year was particulalry worse bscause of one of the neighbors. They eventually disappeared, but I had one coke through the window while flying, scared the shit out of me since I never saw them fly.
