I remember hating the series because I hated gays and for me he was a man that dressed as a woman. I also hated hey Arnold for having a black friend (didn't understood why would any kid hang out with a black kid) and changing the channel everytime I caught my sister ching rug rats because Tommy was a jew and Jews were bad.

There was a small store were we would buy the bread and stuff like that and ny parents would complain about the owner, they called him El Judío. He probably wasn't Jewish but still, as for rugrats the kid wears the color of. Israel and the show had Hanukkah specials.
