The quality of life in reserves is LITERALLY nothing to do with Canada. The government has no power on them and the police have no jurisdiction.

Provincial police will literally be driven off of a reserve with guns pointed at them if they try and chase a fugitive down that's in one, they have their own police force. They are basically independent enclaves in Canada, then they spend all their gibs on alcohol and cage match boxing then blame their death and crime rates on the racist whites.

There's a reserve in Northern Ontario that wants to sue the government due to bad water conditions but WILL NOT ALLOW NON-NATIVES TO COME ONTO THE RESERVE TO FIX THEIR TREATMENT PLANT.
