Might get a job in Warsaw, pays around 2k USD, how's life there, is that money enough, worth or nah?

Can't be worse then romania right?
>>77787077
Good point
pretty much your standard western city
I wish I could live in Warsaw.
>>77787037
Everything will cost about the same apart from rent (that will be about double).
>>77787037
And you guys make fun of American cities for being ugly, lmao.

>2k USD
You will be more than fine, 2k USD is an income of your average polish family and that's supposed to feed and support 3-4 people.

I'm just wondering if it's a nice enough place to live but from the responses I got here sounds like it's pretty alright.
Bucharest is a real pain to live in for example, traffic really fucks me up.

this. russians from kaluningrad go to neighboring polish regions to buy food because it has a better quality AND cheaper in poland. and the average wage in russia is about 500$ currently, it's probably even lower in kaliningrad but people can afford to go in poland abd buy stuff there with that. so i think 2000$ a month is a great salary. the only thing that is more expensive in poland than in kalingrad is rent
>>77789462
food in poland is probably the cheapest in europe.
it's only the taxed products like liquor, cigarettes and fuel that it's expensive and financially sane to smuggle from Belarus.

I was looking to live in Poland with my polish mate once ages ago. Anyway he was telling me how a family sized house can go for 500 zloty rent monthly with is like £100 compared to near £1000 for the same house in England. Point is $2k is £1500 roughly, you do the math

>Anyway he was telling me how a family sized house can go for 500 zloty rent monthly
in bumfuck nowhere probably.
In the city there's no way you're going to get anything beyond a studio apartment for this price.
>>77789684
How much is a one bedroom apartment for rent, somewhere close to the center of the city so I don't commute for too long?
>>77789727
look on olx.pl
>>77789684
true i was looking at Lublin outskirts but still £1500 is more than enough
>>77789832
Why didn't I think of that
>>77789727
around 1000 pln for the landlord alone.
So that's like 1/8 of your budget. You should do fine.

Only Macedonia has cheaper food than Poland in Europe.
