Not black but these sterotypes have more to do with history. Black slaves in the US were given watermelon at times to freshen up. Of course when you're working at a hot plantation, watermelons are your best friend. Though the modern day, Black Americans are actually at the bottom of the list of watermelon consumers. Though this might be more of a resource-area problem.
