In the future you can do the application in the net too, never having to do psych evals or anything. The same applies to semi-auto, but they're a bit stricter with those. I got my first semi-auto rifle after half a year of regular shooting.

The really fun stuff like missile systems, rockets, breech loaded artillery, and fully automatic firearms are only for registered collectors, which is something only a handful of people have.

We have both of those things. Not exactly saltwater fjords as such, however. Though you will find lots of valleys with similar features. Our mountains aren't quite as dramatic as they are on the Norwegian side, but it is the same mountain range you know. It's Canadian vs American rockies type of thing, but on a smaller scale. And we have plenty of lakes. Hundreds of thousands in fact. One of them is the largest lake in Europe. Anyway, we have everything that our neighbours have. Sweden is vast, wild, and geographically diverse ranging from quiet sandy shores, plains, vast forests, mountains, and even some tundra.

I think we do plenty of promotion, but maybe not to Americans. We have a lot of German and Dutch tourists that come here for nature experiences.

Oh, don't get me wrong, Sweden is much better than Finland nature-wise in every way. There just isn't any comparison. Anyone who would go to Finland over any other Nordic country (except Denmark) for the nature is a complete fool. They mainly have industrial forests interspersed with some lakes and farmland. That's fine, but it's nothing spectacular. We have those things too, if you want them.

Norway is practically all mountains however, so if you like that, go there for sure. It's amazing. Sweden offers dramatic mountain landscapes as well, but plenty of other kinds of geography too.

I see. I know there are some restrictions on hunting and fishing, though I don't know them precisely. I think it varies by municipality and county. But they shouldn't be too restrictive. I know I could just go fish in some river if I wanted to, for sure. Big game like moose you need hunting ground rights for, I believe. But small game? Might be fine to just do as you please with. The main rule is to not disturb and to not destroy, and you may do things like that for recreational purposes quite freely.

I'd say the national parks in the north are the most impressive. There are many. Sarek is perhaps the most well-known one. There is a popular hiking trail called Kungsleden ("the king's trail") which takes you through a few. It's quite long.

Well, the freedom to roam covers quite a lot. You can walk, ski, horseback ride etc, camp, pick berries, mushrooms and plants that are not protected, fish with a hook and ice fish as long as you don't harm the forest or cause any disturb to the landowner. You can't however hunt or fish freely or make a fire or log. Although in the wilderness areas you can collect wood and make a fire.

We export more culture (movies, books, music), have more internationally known companies and products, way more old historical buildings/cities, more innovations/inventors and better universities. Our cuisines are pretty similar but I personally think ours is a bit better.

Finland on the other hand is alot safer, cleaner, more homogeneous and have a better school system.
There are positive and negative aspects of both countries.

Its the same with Norway and Denmark. Norway is less developed culturally, but have much prettier nature/scenery. Denmark was always the big brother in their relation and thus it was always richer and more developed in areas such as architecture, science, cuisine etc.
