I used to want to live in Germany, but now that I've spent a lot of time there because of work I no longer want to live there. It's beautiful certain times of years, but the plethora of rules (you guys have more rules than anyone) and extremely liberal attitudes towards things is heartbreaking. I mean in Stuttgart where I normally stay the greenies are freaking out about a train, screwing with stop lights for the pollution, and talking about banning combustion engines within a short time period in the city. Ridiculous considering the percent of the economy based on automotive.

Germans have always been very nice to me though. They invite me to their home, they are very warm to me. I have a lot of German friends now.

However, Germans HATE other Germans. They hate their neighbors, they take every opportunity to fuck eachother over. It's basically a universal problem in Germany that I really haven't seen in any other country. I mean Americans make fun of other Americans, we call eachother fat or whatever, but there tends to not be this antagonistic position taken against eachother that is so common in Germany.
