It may be a wild ride but after a year you will be proud that you know Greek. Intonation is helpful. Grammar will be very tough probably. But it's a beautiful language.
After perhaps a year or so you will start to recognize stuff like
>>77575173 >>77575476
αλληλο is a prefix which means mutual
εξουδετέρωση means neutralization
αλληλο+εξουδετέρωση= mutual neutralization
These >>77576367 are also composite words. You probably know the first one, it's otorhinolaryngologist. We don't even say this word most of the times since there is an informal form, like you have ENT.
Give it a shot Anon. Visit /lang/ for resources if you haven't already.
I gave up greek after some months, it´s really hard. Sounds so foreign to me, it might as well be arabic.

It's not because -tion is pronounced -sion and there's silents letters that it's a difficult language
greek pronounciation is pretty straight forward. english has way more weird shit going on

Greek is very easy to pronounce and pronuciation follows spelling, the only easy thing with greek. Only 24 letters (plus some double) and many make the same sound - maybe thats why I thought everything sounded the same..
