Home: Västergötland/Bohuslän (apartment and summer home, consider both my homes)

Visited: Jämtland (skiing in the winter, hiking in the summer), Dalsland (camping in the summer), Värmland (friends summer home). Also briefly Skåne, Södermanland, Uppland, Östergötland.

Will visit one day: Gotland, Lappland, Dalarna

Will never visit: Malmö

Nah I'm in Washington, not California. The west coast gets less interesting the further south you go from here, IMO. The northwest is beautiful though.

If you like architecture and history especially if you like old churches then the old Spanish Missions are pretty great. Also the sheer size and age of the sequoias and redwoods makes those areas arguably some of the few genuinely unique forests in the world, if you like nature.

Hawaii is humid as fuck, and full of japanese people, and military service members
California is one giant traffic jam, their beaches are shit compared to the east coast too(an unpleasant suprise)
Las vegas is hot as fuck, got in at 2am and it was 90 degrees still
Iowa/Missouri is boring as fuck, small towns where EVERYONE knows EVERYONE, people on the side of the road could tell we were not from there because of our car, half the town knew outsiders were there before we even parked (was visiting distant family there), shit was spooky
Florida is full of crazy people and sluts, and disney, beaches were great tho, pet a few different kinds of stingrays, even got to float in a tube while a swarm swam under me (like hundreds of rays, blocked the way back to shore for a good 3 hours, my older sister was freaking out, I think my parents on the shore were too
Cape cod was nice, locals were snooty pricks the farther east you got though, the tourists and service industry workers were great though
Smokey mountains are beautiful, gop and visit them for at least one sunrise and sunset if you ever get the chance, also give the bears some room or else they charge your car
Ohio is hell on earth, and Gary Indiana has a permanent smell(in the cars and buildings too, there is no escape), avoid it if you can
Washington DC is great for tourists, it changes dramatically after 8pm tho, so be prepared
NYC is overrated, but would be pretty cool place to live, the locals are kinda full of themselves though
Texans are rightwing nationalists, its like a country within a country, too fucking hot and buggy too, people are chill though once you get past their extra level of patriotism/nationalism for texas

and of course Da U.P. is Gods country, greatest nature I've ever seen, long drive from anywhere though, and GPS/phones wont work half the time up there (kind of a good thing though, as long as you arnt lost)

Never been there, to be honest, but the whole Asturian coast is beautiful (especially Ribadesella and Llanes), so Gijón would be a good place to visit. I've been to Oviedo, which is in the same metropolitan area as Gijón and is very nice.

Brazil is actually a nice place for roadtrips. Even when you should technically be in a god-forsaken-zika-infested-no-man's-land, there are still things to see and be amazed by, specially if you enjoy nature and folk culture.
