Yes it is how the world works when it comes to this. You can't make the oil greener by thinking that everyone who sells oil should stop selling oil. Someone will always be the provider if there is a market for it. The way to think about this is actually that we all need to stop consuming oil. If there is no market for oil, then nobody will drill and sell it. The other way around doesn't work. I'm sure you must agree with this.
