oh well... in Norwegian law it says quite clearly that no one can be punished for self defense, self defense applies to both people and things and it doesn't matter who owns the thing you're defending.

It also says that an act that would OTHERWISE be illegal (such as shooting someone) is LEGAL if it's done in self defense.
