Recently there was a contest on television, a game show of sorts. Well the last contestants on the show were given three chances at a particular question for a million dollars. The question was a rather simple one: which name is the most common among newborns in germany over the past five years.
Well the first response was, predictably, Adolf... The interviewer says that this is an Austrian name, not a german name, and nonetheless, it hasn't been popular since the 40s.
As a second guess, the couple responded: Max. The interviewer says, "Close!" In fact, if this was asked just 20 years ago, you would be very rich right now.
As a third reply, the couple, bemused, responded Hans, to which the host responded, sorry, that name hasn't been en vogue since the early part of the last century. The answer, of course, is muhammad.
