I dont normally defend California or its odd demographic situation, but its a huge state. Like Texas, because of its size, it is special because most states of smaller size would be recognized the most for their cities. But Cali and Texas are both so big that it would truly be a mistake to assume the culture of the whole state can be seen in just their cities.

There are also other entertainment hubs in the US that compete. There is plenty of Hispanic/Latino/Mestizo representation in all American media. Its just not all from California.

And I have to push back a little on the idea that Mestizos are unattractive. It simply isn't true.

I would also caution against trying to relate the illegal entrant problem here with Europes situation. Some of the causes are similar. But we Americans are blessed with the best neighbors in the world. If you have to be invaded, getting invaded by decent Catholics and other Christians who love family and community and bring great food and music is hardly the worst thing in the world. Its really not their fault that our border and immigration system is so totally fucked. They just want a better life too.
