Modern Lapland Samis are not same as original South Samis (they mixed with Finns, at least) Eastern Finns

Finno-Ugric tribes came to this land 2000-3000 years ago but Finland has been populated much longer (and possibly people here spoke even Proto-Germanic before)

The "truest" Finns from those times (even today we have differences in West and South) are difficult to determine but I wouldn't say Finns have never been or still are 't Saamis, we have some shared influence
