How come an European make better Western movies than any American ever could?
Bump because I'd like an answer from our fat friends
It's easier to understand how something if you a 3rd party

how something work*
I will elaborate anyway: People who make the same type of movies again and again or just work in the biz start to misunderstand what's all about. They cling to the cliches and never want to change anything. In the same time someone who has seen a few movies of same genre can easily grasp the concept and tricks and left behind all trash that seems redundant to him. Basically he is reinventing a genre

I guess that makes sense
Still surprise me though
