Why the fuck is my country so borderline Central/South American?
The weather here is awful, we're all behind 10-15 year technologically, and we all live on this thought process that we're just as relevant as we were during the Renaissance when the only thing people care about (like Central/South America) is our food. Also that "unification" was fucking retarded too.

You hear in history classes that Italy was at its height during the Renaissance, where every part was a city state. Now that we're unified, those rivalries still haven't died down. I'm in Florence and someone from Pisa or Rome would probably spit in my food. Hell, someone from a different QUARTER of Florence probably would probably scoff at me
Should have just let the city states do their own thing. RIP Repubblica Firenze.
