The political greenery and the leftists do that occasionally in public statements. Not too often though because their representatives are caught in speeding and drunk driving as often as general citizens. And nowadays they can't hide it anymore thanks to cellphone cameras and the Insanely quick reflexes of their users.

Our law enforcement is very strict but does it nice in the end. Genuinely I do not want to fuck with them, and if they want to have their say it's fair and ok.

However they won't write public statements as an institution to criticize civilian traits. Should there be any such a commentary, it would be something like a blogging from an individual LEO in his/her own name.

also im not saying private motorized vehicles should be outright banned, its just that too often you see cities filled with traffic, mostly 4-seat cars that only have 1 person inside in most cases.
public transportation uses the space it takes in the road to allow for way more travelers in one go.
