hi
everything (except the double ll / single l but I use it because you have to be consistent) looks more aesthetic and natural in british spelling
ENCE
RE
OR
T
K
ISE
LL
OG
american
because it is easier
Nobody writes practise, OG is just as common as OGUE

I'm pretty sure that Americans write practice and British write practise.
english spelling
ANSI keyboards.
ISO keyboards are absolute fucking dogshit garbage.
I hate the tiny backspace, left shift clearly not designed with consideration to poeple who can actually fucking touchtype and the humongously oversized CR for some reason.
I use the ANSI layout because I grew up in the US and I learnt to type on an ANSI keyboard and spent my first 5 years typing on an ANSI keyboard. I have an ANSI keyboard now but within Windows I have it setup as a British keyboard so I can make the £ sign. Having it as a British/ISO keyboard means some keys are moved around but I can easily type special characters using both an ANSI or ISO keyboard
"Program" and "programme" are both used in British English. "Programme" can be used to describe something shown on TV, or it can be used for an event programme like pic related.
A piece of software you run on your computer is a program.
I've never seen "bank" spelt "banque". I sort of knew that that "chequer" is spelt chequer such as in Chancellor of the Exchequer, but "chequer" is a word that I've rarely heard said or seen spelt that I'd imagine most people would write it "checker"

I'm fairly sure you can enhance windowses functionality by some third party software.
Within X window system I can do $, €, £ and even ¥ without changing they keyboard layout.
And I still retain the functinality of polish diacritics so ćźżłóśąę are available.
Being as objective as I possibly can, there are some Americanisms I like and some I dislike, -ize is an overcorrection in my opinion
