they couldn't possibly co-exist in a single federal nation
the argument against eu isn't cultural homogenization
it's state rights, which is a huge topic for conservatives, like that's the only thing they believe in

Europe is better uniting into a few super states instead of one giant one.
Take for example East Asia (China, Korea, Japan, Mongolia) or South Asia (Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives).
One giant united Europe? No. Several Giant European states (and a few small ones)... yes.
