I visited the city in December. It's really warm and things are expensive.
Food is good and cheap if you know where to look. Locals eat at these food plaza's that have quality meals for 5 dollar.
The city is very clean and ordered. It also has one of the highest standards of living in the world. The rest of South East Asia is easily accessible by cheap Air Asia flights. You can go to cheap Thai and Malaysian islands for amazing times.

I think Singapore would be a perfect city to live in, if things were cheaper and if the climate was less warm.
