For any of you anons that have learned French, how did you get used to the sounds? I'm okay when it comes to writing, but listening is so god damn hard due to liaison, and how quickly it's spoken. Does following the subtitles on TV shows help?

had the same issue until I actually went to australia and stayed for long. Which basically means you need to practice it until it gets into your ear and for me it took me a good six months.
You should come and visit us but please don't go to Paris as it would give more attention to that over populated shit place.
c'est facile sale connard, ta langue saxonique de merde est plus difficile à saisir sur la prononciation absolument pas phonétique, pourquoi tu met un putain de "t" si ça sonne comme un "d" enculé?

French has been through a ''linguistic relaxation'', it means that if a word can be spoken without letters slowing the pronounciation and can still be understood, it becomes the norm. We used to say forest, honest, and prestre before taking away the ''s'' and putting a ^ instead; We also don't pronounce alot of s, x, d, t, p, m and g when it's at the end of a word or before the consonant of another syllable. French is a lazy language for lazy and shitty people, so you shouldn't be worried about liaisons because no one pronounce them anymore. Because we're all beginning to speak like toddler in France and becoming a simple charmless language like russian, chinese or english if it's not for the multiple english words we use daily even though we have words for those in French. But everyone is like muh it's faster and more useful for whatever reason so let's speak english even though we can't make a sentence
Don't learn French
