ISIS gets shit done, so it's at least more rational to pledge allegiance to something with an actual set of outlined goals and visible progress. They are also a lot less historically brutal and nation destroying than your nation is, but school kids are still force to pledge an allegiance in a religious fashion to your national flag, shortly before being gunned down by a hail of freedom bullets.
