>any first generation immigrant in the US here ?
Yes
>how did you move in and what job did you take ?
Porn star
wait, so if my parents stay in indonesia and i decided to be the first in my family to move to the US alone, does that make me a first generation or what ?
what kind of jobs should a first generation immigrant expect to get in the US ?
like i'm planning to move to the US alone, so that would make me a first generation immigrant, and i'm a university graduate, majored in Management. from a third world country. what kind of jobs should i expect ?

H1B visas are probably going to drop off the map with Trump so an American wife or advanced degree is probably best for a visa. Getting a management job is not too difficult. But getting a job someplace that wants to bother with a work visa is going to be much harder.
But good luck with your search!

so what if i take master's degree in america, but with indonesian bachelor's degree ? should that be easier for me ?

If you have a business that wants you there you can pretty much stay, US immigration is all about financial security.

>American wife
women and family is the least prioritized thing in my book.

You could try the diversity lotto. It only requires the equivalent of a high school diploma (roughly 12 years of school).

i don't like it at all. what's the point, it's not meritocracy. i'm against diversity quota and forced multiculturalism. idk, coming in, not because i really deserve it, makes me feel inferior.

The diversity lotto is a tiny percentage of the visas issued every year anyway. It's intended to make the immigrant makeup of the US less lopsided (read - not so many fucking latinos, indians, and chinese)
In a way, immigrants who come in through this system are providing a valuable service.

Go back home.

>It's intended to make the immigrant makeup of the US less lopsided (read - not so many fucking latinos, indians, and chinese)
why is this a problem there ?
>>76085605
Lots of immigrants of one specific type coming in all at the same time causes social problems. It tends to lead to ethnic enclaves and other shit. Canada has this problem with rich Indians and Chinese coming in, buying up all the real estate, and then just sitting on it, leading to housing shortages.
Basically, when your flow of immigrants is more diverse, they're more likely to assmilate instead of isolating themselves.

huh okay. i'll look into it later, thx
