That's basically 2400 Romanian Lei a month, maybe a bit more actually, like 2600. Do you pay taxes on this or is it after tax? If before, then shit, if after, then better than the ordinary Romanian.
>>76047938
Up until last year you wouldn't pay tax if you made less than 6000€/year.
I think this might change though.
>if after, then better than the ordinary Romanian.
that doesn't make either of us less impoverished.

2600 a month after taxes is fine, considering that rent + other house spendings go up to 1000, leaving you with 1600. From my experience, 900 is enough to eat like a normal person, not just cook. Leaves you with 700 for whatever. But thing is, if you didn't pay tax, then we're speaking not of net, but of whole, and a whole 2600 salary after tax in Romania means around 3700 RON, so 810 euro per month. That is quite good.

No that's 550 per month after tax. 800 is actually a decent wage even for here, but with 500 you can't afford anything other than rent, utilities and food.

That sucks greek bro. Hope you find sth better.

Come to Germany or Austria mate

Migrants go work in Germany -> their kids have cash for school amd university -> become qualified workers that request better paying jobs that suits their interests -> economy gets better. That's kinda what's happening in Romania right now.
