You would spiral into depression without work. You need the lows and the highs or everything blurs into numbness. My summer vacations as a child are perfect examples of this. I sat on my lazy ass playing video games from dusk till dawn and it made me extremely depressed. You need something shitty and time consuming in your life to make your fun time seem much more valuable and fulfilling.
