I don't really hate Korea. But it's one of the country I find the least interesting in Asia. You do have some cool stuff: bits of history here and there, some of your cinema is pretty damn good, some of your cuisine too.

But the things I somewhat "dislike" about it outweighs that: your history mostly consisted of being in China's orbit, being raided by Manchus, and dynasty struggle, your language, while the way it's been standardized so early is impressive, is grating to the ear, your work culture is somehow worse than Japan's, your pop culture is only marginally better, which isn't an accomplishment.
