Honestly I would prefer a Fachwerk-inspired parliament building to a generic neo-classical one, as unusual as it might look. Also I'm not so much against Roman-inspired architecture as I am neo-classical architecture, so styles like Romanesque I don't find offensive. And obviously Romanesque isn't uniquely German at all, but I feel it would still be more German than the generic Volkshalle design.
