To be fair, the Normans were Francified vikings. Not only that, but because of the conquest, lots of the nobility in England was replaced with Norman nobility. Add to that the migrations of French people from Normandy to England that took place, and it makes sense to see why there is so much admixture. I wouldn't mind seeing the flip-side though, with the English admixture in France because of the Angevin Empire.
