That's true, that's what I aim to do and that's where's the problem. I wish to save up money but 40-50% tax is a slap in the face for everyone who tries to do so. The German state is rich, the German people aren't.
All I want is about 100k so I can invest in some index funds and start my own business. Guess how old I will be before I reach that? Even if I saved 500 Euro a month (which is a reasonable goal for a German wage slave) that would take more than a decade before I can even start.
