High chances of being killed/robbed or have your arms chopped off by some tribal asshole with a gun, depending on the area.

Some parts of Africa is dense, poor, tropical and have no hygiene. It's literally the perfect place for a plague to start, it's just waiting to happen. Just like the black death killed up to 200 million people in Europe.
