you're not using "let alone" right, it's supposed to go like "has x happened let alone y?" where x is a larger thing and y is a smaller one. you should have said "has shikoku produced anything of significance at all, let alone anything of significance to japan?" you see? because you can't start with something with less reach and significance and then say "disregarding that, [something with more reach and significance]". it doesn't make sense.

You know the same question could be made about our whole country right?
