Russians by definition can't build something which makes people happy.

They can only build stuff which has the purpose to kill people and spread chaos and destruction. Russia does the bare minimum to survive physically. Not more and not less. If other nations wouldn't exist and pressure Russia into evolving and competing it would simply go back to a state of nature and idleness. It is a black hole and an anti-civilization. That's why it collapses every damn century. Russia lacks the component which all of humanity has: the drive to arrive somewhere and achieve something. Communism was nothing but the crazy attempt to reduce the rest of humanity to the state of idleness which is normal for Russia.
