Up to the 1970s, Arab nationalism was socialistic and pro-Soviet, actually it didn't have a lot to do with Islam, which was often suppressed and forced secularization imposed on Arab cunts.

The turning point was the Iranian Revolution, which legitimized fundamentalist Islam overnight.
