close it down and find another hobby

The only cure of it is friends irl or a time consuming hobby.

Get a real life. You won't have time for shitposting than.
You will eventually get tired of it after many months or years, leave for a few months a year and then come back on and off every few weeks.

Find yourself a job or go to university. And actually start to do something in these spheres. You will eventually find friends and gf and won't have time for 4chan.

Do you even want to change anything? What's the point of these threads where op refuses every piece of advice on how to fix his problem?

why so mean paraguay?
>>75243318
That's my plan (going to university) but I'm slacking on it, unfortunately. Can't explain why I'm slacking tho.

Um, you're a fucking leaf, lol

Even though you are obviously joking, I will give a serious answer: "little goals" - don't come here tomorrow, precisely for 24h, then after several days don't come here for 48h, then double it, and again and again, systematically. If you cannot double your current goal, then at least achieve your last record. Also - you may fail at some point, but this shouldn't discourage you, start from your last longest period. This method should also work with "positive" goals, not only with avoiding bad habits, the only difference is that at the beginning you need to set your final goal, and you don't need double your regular little "steps" - eg. I study foreign languages by forcing myself to memorise precisely 5 words a day and I fanatically care about this little goal, 5 words seems like nothing, but after one year it's a lot. In physical training I set my final goal, like 10 kilometers on a stationary bike, then I start with 100 meters and double it every 10 days.
