Bullshit. The Germanic languages and cultures are Indo-European. Compare Germanic religion and mythology to other Indo-European stuff like Greek or Roman mythology for example. It's basically the same. All of it has the same root, which are Indo-Europeans. They have migrated to Europe through war, they have also mixed with old Europeans.
