Isn't the "muh heritage" kind of hobbies and putting together your family tree stereotypically American? We get made fun of it a lot. But my family always goes to the Scottish Highland Games in Michigan and hang out with Clan Campbell etc.

Most American just have generic hobbies like reading, tv, camping, cars, etc.
