I've known a couple of Pajeets that got cornered by their parents and made to marry someone.
The results are usually both hilarious and hideous.... and seem to end in divorce a lot of the time.

One of the old profs says they are surprisingly ok with it.
I guess not all cultures were made to be free.

In most arranged marriages the man and woman go through different suitors,they marry only if they like the other person. It's not like game of thrones where the woman have no choice (can't say about rural India).
It's not forced it's vetted by the parents that's all .
Also it's being fazed out ( at least in urban India)
