what "useless" language would you like to learn?
By useless I mean you have no immediate reason to learn the language.
For me it would be Polish, I have no connections to the country and I don't know much of the culture but I like the way if sounds.
Arabic, I just like its phonetics.

If you really want to easily learn Romance languages go with Spanish, it's simple enough and shares most of the common romance features. Latin would be like learning Old English to learn modern English more easily.

Cherokee. My white ancestors used to speak it because there were a lot of Cherokee neighbors around, now it's not as common because it's not as useful. About as useless as you can get really.
