I doubt he'll get impeached though, this has like a 90% chance of going nowhere and being forgotten in a week. Even if the Republicans didn't control congress, a president could simply resign before being removed from office and losing his pension.

It's become impossible to remove a president from office after the Clinton impeachment; where even the democrats acknowledged that he broke the law, but successfully argued that committing perjury and obstruction of justice isn't a serious enough crime if it's done to merely cover adultery.
