Interesting. A few states here test their welfare recipients for drug use and they hardly ever find drug users. It's mostly just a way to line some politicians pockets because they own the drug testing facility , but whenever this issue is brought up here it turns out that people on welfare aren't lazy bums, and druggies, they're just poor, sick, and jobless and actually need the assistance.

Typical to american politics, make up crime stories about the poor or minorities to steal more money.

Turns out the drug users are people that can actually afford to buy them. There are a lot of opiate / heroin addicts here in the suburbs.
