Comfy episode. Winters is too based.
>>74434019
Okay
Episode 1 really reminded me of how hellish basic training could be from time to time.
Bad
>Le evil nazis
>Holohoax

>how hellish basic training could be from time to time.
how so
my favourite series of all time.

Recommend nice british war series. I think I saw a decent WWI series on netflix a year ago where these machine gunners and co mowed down human waves of germs across a river but then got overrun.
I remember there was a scene when they basically made fun of all the french people so no, fuck you anglo scum and fuck this shitty series

>Marching all night in -35 c
>Running (trying) around in 2m deep snow
>Being woken up at 4am by screaming Drill Sergeant for a morning 1 mile run
>Having 5-10 minutes available for dinner in the mess hall
>No weekends/laptop/internet for 2 months
You know, less than fun moments

Yeah, this one?

It was bretty good, but Band of Brothers is next level, came out when I was 12 and seen it 3/4 times since.
>>74434928
>Yeah, this one?
I think that's the one. IIRC there was a brutal episode about a tank crew. Made being in a tank seem as hellish as being in the trenches.
>>74434902
I don't remember that but sorry.
>>74434903
sounds kind of uncomfortable desu

>2. Do people in your country know of Band of Brothers? What do they think of it? You?
Those who are into war dramas - yes.
They like it, but no worshipping.
I haven't seen it.
>3. Your country's Band of Brothers
We had several similar series and movies based on real events. Right now I'm watching "Poem of Kovpak" about soviet partisans.
>>74435021
>Poem of Kovpak
Sounds interesting but can't find it and probably won't be able to find subtitles if I did.
>>74435008
Well, it's not meant to be.
Hardship builds character.
>>74435081
Try Osvobozhdenie/Liberation
>>74435191
Dunno if the one I found has subtitles but I came across something weird
>>74435291
Lol
By the way, the entire Kovpak story is on the YouTube, but without any subs or non-original dub
Also, there are some nice polish and soviet spy series , like 17 Moments of Spring and Stawka wieksza niz zycie
>>74435487
I'll keep looking around, thanks for the recommendations
>>74434019
Yeah seeing as there are British actors galore in the film. Good series.
>>74435685
*in the show
>>74435685
wow even band of brother's gets ANGLO'd... unreal, I'm not watching this show anymore
>>74434987
don't apologize to France. They deserve ridicule, it's the only way they'll learn.
>>74434902
And don't come back.
>>74435685
>>74435784
The guy that plays Bane in the dark knight movie is in it too I think.
>>74435881
thats actually the actor. here
>>74435685
>>74436039
No that's the dude that plays Brody in Homeland. The guy I'm thinking of is the manlet with the weird voice in batman.
