Even though my generation don't even know the different cults of Christianity, most chruches in France are catholics so their view on Catholicism would be the same for the entire religion. A lot of young people see christians as fragile and monotonous because of what the church has become, sometimes they make fun of the religious because they are seen as kind of backward.
If you say to these people you go to church sunday (or at least sometimes), they give you the big eyes as if it was weird, as if them playing video games and sleeping the entire day looked better from their point of view.
