In what way? Maybe I'm looking at the wrong shit but it seems like trains from say Madrid to Bilabo are like 5-6 hours. That would be like 2 hours in Italy. Plus trains seem more expensive, 70-80 EUR for a one way from Madrid to Barcelona. The same distance would be like Milan-Rome and that would be about 50 EUR on a frecciarossa.

To be fair a lot of your geography helps, you can kind of have a good central rail line going straight up and down the country while spain has to branch out a lot more but still, it's a lot easier to get around Italy than Spain.

Andorra has cheap electronics and cigarretes (low to no taxes at all), you can ski, and there are parties, but of tourists, and sometimes hotel workers join.
