Is it okay in Japan to have a few anime that you've watched and liked? I liked Lain for its aesthetics, absurdity, and mind-fucking. I also like Haibane Renmei for the feels and Texhnolyze and Samurai Champloo. I don't regularly watch anime, but these were series I've watched through my teenage years.
