If it is just a matter of GDP then:
Brazil
Mexico
Argentina
Chile.

>In transition from developed to less developted

In the XIX century there was a saying in Europe "Rich as an argentine" They had infrastructure, education, money. All paid for by the industrial revolution in England. It was a fairly developded country. But 80 years agos they decided to embrace Perón and throw it all in the garbage, haven't manage to escape from estagnation ever since. It was a long walk, but it's safe to say Argentina completed their transition towards being another third world country in Latin America. Just to ilustrate my point, back then their GDP per capta was about the same as Great Britain, France, Germany and Canada. Fairly close to the united states as well. Today it's a third relative to these countries.

They have no industy anymore, and they can't compete in a globalized world due to the peronist trap. Back in the early 2000's we finished destroying thier economy by making the value of our currency closer to the US dollar and flooding their markets with our cars, food, washing machines, televisions and do on. They haven't recovered so far.

The only countries actually competing right now are Brazil and México. And we're winning by a lot without eve braking the sweat.

Rio Culture doesn't reflect at all the true culture of Brazil. We are very catholic, modest and connected to nature.

Must of us would rather go out to fish or cook a tradicional brazilian barbecue with our closest family and friends, drink a couple lager beers and listen to music about how perfect life is in the countryside.

We're more like texas than california or florida.

Please acknowledge our true nature.
>>
Sertanejo is our national music. Not samba, bossa nova, funk or whatever the fuck they come up with in Rio.

Brazil, most will say it is an issue that every foreigner thinks of Brazillians as citizens of Rio.
>>
>>74280154
I think Rio is more attractive to tourists in a globalized, liberal, post modern world.

I have no problem with that. The touristic part of town is actually very beautiful. The hills mixed in with the ocean and the beaches. But the population is very distinct compared to to the rest of Brazil. In ethinic terms and mostly in mindset. The problem is they have a disproportionate amount of power over mainstream media.

But when a regular brazilian gets in contact with people from other countries these Rio misconceptions get old pretty quickly

Brazil is fantastic, sure, GdP per capita is low, murder rate is higher than Mexico, but the people are so fucking awesome all that is irrelevant.
Chile has such a disgustingly developed infrastructure it makes me sad. I haven't went to Santiago, but the people in the south are really chill.
I love Argentina, from German colonies in the south (it's not different than Chile though), to the Jewish and Italian Buenos Aires, to the amerindian and mestizo North. It's just great, everywhere.
I don't know about Mexico desu, people here seem to have something against us :^[

Not that argie, but that was in Rio de Janegro... Almost a different country compared to South Brazil.

Two argentines were killed in the same week.

Two of the countries you listed aren't even in the same category. Mexico and Brazil are 3rd world, violent shitholes, while Argentina and Chile are okay.

most columbians going to chile are from buenaventura and tumaco, aka the blackest areas of the country. They're bringing much needed diversity into Chile
>>
>>74281658
They are not coming here anymore. They are getting the boot at the peruvian border, same with the rest of the negro folk from other parts of the continent. So they are going to Argentina now. I wish they'd go to Brazil and get rekt by favelados tho. Not being racist, but most of them are criminals

And the guy who punched and actually killed him fleed to Spain the next morning. I think he is still in Madrid. Haven't heard any news about this case ever since.

the average colombian in Buenos Aires is a person in his 20s who looks like James the football player, works in a place like Starbucks and is here because of free college.
I havent seen yet a black Colombian, which makes me think blacks rarely go to University in Colombia.

it seems we get different ones, although a few crimes by sicarios have happened, but people didnt care much because it is seen as like the chinese mafia, something that only affects the chinese.
The son of Escovar Gaviria lives in Buenos Aires, there have been cases of people murderer by sicarios, only for the police to discover they were narcos who were living in expensive apartments or gated communities for the rich.

The most important part and the one that produces almost all of the GDP is the interoceanic region (Around the canal) :
>Provinces of Panamá, Colón, and Panamá Oeste.
>The canal.
>Logistic hub (Ports in both oceans, Train that connects both ports, Highway that connects both oceans).
>Hub de las Americas (Aeropuerto de Tocument, home of Copa Airlines).
>Financial services (Financial center with more than 90 banks).
>The only mayor city in the country (Ciudad de Panamá)
>More than half of the population lives here.
>Panamá Viejo, Casco Antiguo, Camino de Cruces, Fuerte San Lorenzo and Portobelo are some important historical sites.

Coclé:
>Cool province with somewhat mountainous regions and nice beaches.
>Penonomé is the capital of the province with somewhat cool weather.
>Antón is near the beaches. The Valle de Antón is a small town with a mountainous weather.
>Natá and Aguadulce are other important towns in the province.

Azuero:
>Provinces of Herrera and Los Santos are the more Hispanic with a population of mainly European ancestry.
>The economy here is based on livestock.
>Even thought, with the exception of a few towns, life is rural; standards of living are pretty high here.
>Chitré, capital of Herrera, is the biggest city in Azuero.
>La Villa de Los Santos is a small town in Los Santos with great historical importance.
>Las Tablas, capital of Los Santos.
>Pedasí is a very touristic town with beautiful beaches.
>Guararé is another interesting town in Los Santos.

Veraguas:
>Only province with two oceans.
>They have mountainous regions.
>They have a lot of livestock going on here.
>It´s capital and largest town is Santiago.
>Second largest town is Soná
>San Francisco de la Montaña is a small town in mountainous Veraguas, with a beautiful baroque church.

Chiriquí:
>Best highlands in the country.
>David, the capital, is one of the biggest towns outside the interoceanic region.
>Some mountain towns include Boquete, Cerro Punta, and Volcán
>They used to have a railroad network, but not anymore.

Boca del Toro:
>They have some of the best beaches.
>Beautiful islands. 10/10 must visit.
>Also used to have a railroad network, but not anymore.

Darien and the comarcas:
>Don not go in here.
