I'm really shit at my job. Its my first ever job, I've been at it for 4 months now. It follows on quite nicely from my degree and pays a decent rate, and is quite interesting in itself.

The job mostly consists in looking up numbers in a database, as well as updating and uploading documents onto a website.

I constantly make stupid errors. I miscalculate numbers, I write the code in the database wrong, I make errors in updating things, I manage to miss parts that need updating, I make errors in uploading stuff (wrong headings, wrong numbers, wrong tables), I send the wrong emails etc etc etc

I'm well and truly shit at it and every other day the boss is having a go.

I don't know why, the tasks are not hard in themselves, I think its just I can't be arsed with concentrating on mindless tasks for that long. I made task-checklists and shit, but i still managed to fuck up.

I've become incredibly stressed about work. I literally sit at work, hoping nothing goes wrong with my heartbeating like crazy, having panic attacks everytime the boss walks by because I feel like they're regretting taking me on more and more. I've become consequentially very careful about everything I do, but I some how feel like there is already a pile of straws on the camels back. So I'm constantly fearing the third strike.

What do I do? Honestly I'm stressed out as fuck, Part of me kind of want to just give up and start again on this job meme. Only saving grace is that I have an assessment centre next week. I really hope I pass it lads.
