Not here but in Sweden and Norway they have Sami people who think they're opressed

Our "indigenous" people belive they WUZ KANGZ.

Several weeks ago, there was a video of an "indigenous authority" subject to punishment with the cepo (stump). Everyone in the country start talking about it, since it was a clear violation of the human rights and Panama is supostly committed to respect them. Politicians started condeming it, so on and so forth.

The Ngäbe-Buglé people started chimping out about how that was a milenary tradision and important part of their rich culture.

The funny thing is that the cepo was brought by the Spaniards during the colonial period.
