Actually they are correct. German is ugly and useless, Spanish is beautiful and useful (especially if you live in USA).
We have a small amount of retarded people here whose parents choose learning German instead of English in school. You know what? They suck balls when they are adult. One of my friends learned German and has serious problem when playing games for example, reading guides etc.

In Germany you have to learn either French or Latin as third language after English.
I took Latin because I like ancient history but I'm sure French would have been more useful, especially if I wasn't a NEET and would actually travel outside the country sometimes.

I'm learning German because I tried learning Russian in school and it was pretty hard. However, Russian is more useful here and also sounds better, so if I ever manage to learn German I'll do Russian next.
