there's no "best" objective culture in the US. it depends what you are looking for

East Coast/Bos-Wash: Upfront, aggressive, but honest, economically-minded
West Coast: Passive-Aggressive, more free spirited and energy in politics
Midwest: Mostly friendly folk, some can be total assholes from my experience without the redeeming qualities of east coasters
South: Also quite friendly, can be quite 'bubbly' IMO
Appalachia: Like the midwest, but grittier and more worn down, sort of like a midwest/east coast hybrid

I'm sure you can break it down into many more regions... that's just how I see it
