>tfw just came across a job posting for an entry level position requiring 5 years of experience
Does this sort of thing happen in your country? How do you deal with it?

All our jobs require experience. The only way to get a job here is by nepotism i.e: family member or friend works in a company so he asks the manager to hire you.

>How do you deal with it?
With a firm handshake, smile and a rich powerful daddy who knows the boss.

Just lie u nigger
>>73768054
>tfw everyone lies, requirements keep keep getting higher and higher to cope with lies, and soon there will be totally absurd requirements like 50 years of experience from leadership positions while under age of 24 for just a burger flipping job.
>desperate for a job
>see "pizza maker wanted" poster outside local pizzeria
>go in a buy a slice
>casually ask about the job
>they say they are looking for an experienced pizza maker
>tfw I live outside the city; there's no way an "experienced pizza maker" is going to see this ad
>tfw it's a chain pizzeria, which has a completely standardized pizza-making process; I already have cooking experience and could learn the ropes in a day

Here many people lie about their experience, but sometimes the interviewer asks for your Employment Record Card, so you get fucked if he notices you have no experience.
>>73769345
>tfw assholes ask for experience in something that takes half an hour at best to learn
>>73767892
yes, and I'm too chicken to lie so I rarely get a response
You can always just get a shitty job that nobody else will do, dont need experience then
>>73769345
did you pussy out or promote yourself?
>tfw lately been debating of filling in autism in the part of the applications that ask to list disabilities if any
Might give me an edge at those places that advertise themselves as equal opportunity employers. Can't hurt much if no one contacts me back now anyway.
